These are Take-up Corners for a Grain Pump Loop, the one with the weights is a gravity take-up and is only meant to be used in a vertical orientation, the other is a manual take-up designed to be used in any orientation.
Well I have been working and creating designs lately, they have just been a little more complicated and time consuming, also no one works in March due to Hockey and Basketball...
Here is a hopper for a drag conveyor. More to come.
This is a model of a Lined Boot Hopper, the design is bolted together and the plastic liner eliminates the wear of the grain against the steel frame of the hopper.
This is a new platform design that attaches to an 8" diameter distributor (the pipe diameter is 8") to allow the maintenance people to safely work on the mechanics within the distributor.
This is my newest design at work, it is a sheet metal shell for a 16" Pipe 4-way Flatback Distributor. Picture that grain goes in the top inlet and can be distributed out any of the four outlets in the bottom. This one is huge, the top inlet is 18" in diameter and the four bottom outlets are 16" in diameter.
I know I have been neglecting my blog lately so I am going to be uploading some pictures of the things I am working on at work. This is a square transition, it basically moves grain from one place to another, pretty boring.
Just posting my progress so far in a presentation style, there is not even on square corner in this design so far, it is a nightmare to design, I have no clue how we are going to make it.
