Escalator Issues

I have been to a lot of sporting events in my day and the one constant is that stadium escalators to the upper levels (where I usually sit) go up when all of the people are going to their seats and go down when people are leaving their seats. This is to increase escalator throughput and because it just makes sense. Well it sure doesn't make sense to this woman who tries to defy the laws of physics and walk up an escalator that is going down, which would definitely be easier if the escalator wasn't full of people. What I envision as a huge personal victory for the woman...she made it!!!

By the way, escalator banks are almost always accompanied by stairs or elevators close by, which would be much less fun to watch.

Locked in a car.

Are people getting more stupid or just less smart?

A 911 dispatcher had to tell a woman how to unlock her car on Sunday.A woman called Kissimmee police to say she was locked inside her car at the Walgreen's on John Young Parkway near Poinciana."My car will not start. I'm locked inside my car," the unidentified woman said."Nothing electrical works. And it's getting very hot in here, and I'm not feeling well."The dispatcher asked the woman if she was able to manually pull the lock up on the door.The woman said she would try, and then, she said, "Yes, I got the door open."
